Inset basins have most of the basin under the benchtop but a part of the basin will rise above the benchtop level. The top part of the basin (called rim) may vary in height.
It’s recommended if you:
- Want the rim of the basin showing on top of the benchtop;
- Are looking for a basin that goes with all types of benchtop;
- Want to save up on the cost of installations as the benchtop cut will be hidden, it doesn’t require fancy finishing;
- Want to use a regular size of mixer or wall-mounted mixer.
